What we do

WISCo has an active membership of professionals of all ages who are in employment or self-employed after successful careers in business, commerce and higher education. Through its members the Co-operative can offer specialist and experienced support in flexible and customised ways. Prices are highly competitive and delivery standards meet relevant professional requirements.

Needs are assessed through carrying out a Mature Career and Lifestyle Audit (MCLA). Following this process, we then have a range of other support services:

Accountancy advice and services
Advice and guidance on health and well-being
Advice and training for adults particularly in pre-retirement preparation
Care Asset Management
Consultation in change management and facilitation
Counselling and advice on personal enterprise and life change
Economic and social intelligence gathering
Employment law advice through qualified solicitors; appropriate legal services
IT - from web pages to full organisation systems
Leadership development in the NHS and local government
Management development to post MBA standards
Manpower development throughout the career structure
Marketing Strategy and Implementation
Project management in most sectors
Short course management in day or residential settings
Small business advice and security of Intellectual Capital

The Co-operative is working with partners to support the International Seniors Academy Project (based in Ahlen, Germany), the NW Alumnus College and mature enterprise in South Cheshire.
